A Fairy On The Earth : Poem by Dr. P.K. Verma
Indeed, that’s a miracle, her beauty is too bright
To fade it, nobody has to dare to might

O God! To guard her smile, I need some power
A fairy on the earth, she is no stronger than a flower

This is my true love to you, of true mind
In the galaxy, there is no alteration to find.

Star-like eyes, rosy lips, and red cheeks, I’m sure

My love to her is true, every feeling is pure

The depth of my love, how I proved
But you are only one, I ever loved

The stars of mid-night, shall be dear
Who cares for them while you are mine, and near?

I dance in thy heart the wayward round
Love and beauty born, there is murmuring sound

A bunch of golden daffodils, beneath the trees
To see thy divine face, I lost in sweet breezes

Loving you is a vital feeling of delight
No tool is made to measure my love’s height

And there was a host of stars that shine
The endless beauty, that’s classical fine

I gazed, I gazed the glittering butterfly
The amazing beauty on the earth, now in the sky

Suddenly I back to my sense, in vacant mood
She oft flashes in my inward eyes, absolute

Indeed, it’s a bliss of solitude of mine
Oft I dream the fairy and feel myself too fine.
